BACK

	ANT English school is located in the city of Sapporo on the northern island of Hokkaido in Japan.
	The region is known for its excellent skiiing and snowboarding facilities. It is a much smaller city than the more major ones in Japan, so it lacks the hustle, bustle and stress of the bigger cities. That being said, it is still only an hours flight to get to Tokyo. It is a very picturesque city, and it experiences the full four seasons. Skiing is very popular in Winter, the cherry blossoms are abundant in Spring, people go swimming in Summer and the surrounding mountainside turns brown, orange and yellow in the Autumn.
	Sapporo plays host to many festivals, including the world famous Sapporo Snow Festival, where giant sculptures are formed of snow and ice. Seen here on the right. There are much less foreigners in Sapporo than there are in the more major cities of Japan, giving the visitor more of a feeling that they are actually in another country and motivating him or her to study the local language more.
